Joshua John Teare, known professionally as Teardrop, is an American DJ and MC. Teardrop was born and raised in San Ramon, California. Growing up in the Bay Area, he was introduced to many different genres of music, including trance, techno, and house. He's since evolved to include cross-genre and open-format sets, giving him the range any event requires, even deserves.
Being versatile in music, culture, and history is his passion, which includes learning multiple languages, developing as a polyglot. Teardrop is currently bilingual, speaking and mastering both English and Español.
He looks forward to the day he can bring his musical experiences to international events and connecting with those people in their language.

Look, for the longest time I didn’t get the whole DJ thing. Now, I’m writing this the day after my wedding grateful that we 1. Went with a legitimate DJ and 2. That we went with Josh aka DJTeare. If you’re on the fence and want your wedding to be fun, different and memorable… IM TELLING you… move the money around and find a way to book this DJ (for what you’re getting with DJTeare it is the most affordable thing ever). Josh will communicate with you and is very easy going (which you’re going to need if you’re planning a wedding or event). DJTeare not only put in the work he had great ideas. He was part of the days GLUE that kept everything together (especially at the reception). Announcements, moments and absolute bangers one after another. He has any equipment you’ll ever need to throw the party of the century. The guy is versatile, whether it’s a Mormon wedding or an open bar (ours was a mix of both) he can read the room and bring the right vibe. Honestly I was blown away.
